Constructive Candidate Feedback

Put yourself in the candidate’s shoes. You’ve waited over a month for feedback on that interview and you get an automated response explaining you have been unsuccessful. How would you feel? How would you feel about the company you applied to work for? Do give constructive feedback to your candidates. They have taken the time to apply and interview so give them some feedback they can work on. Tell them what was great and perhaps go into a bit more detail about the skillset that you are looking for that differs from their experience. Not only will this help them in their next interview, but they are also likely to remember you as one of the good ones. You never know when you may cross paths again.
